Message from the Principal

Making the right decision about the education of your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Your choice to be a part of the St Cecilia’s Community is a commitment to seeking quality education that nurtures the whole child; spiritually, academically, socially, physically and emotionally in an authentic Catholic community.

The Staff at St Cecilia’s are committed to ensuring learning experiences are engaging, purposeful and develop a love of learning.  We recognise that all children are unique individuals and support them to be respectful and to fulfil their potential. The children are encouraged to live the Gospel values and discipleship daily.

The school lives out the principles and values of our Positive Behaviour for Learning framework (PBL) where children are explicitly taught expectations and behaviours. We are also a KidsMatter school with the emotional wellbeing of our community taking a high priority.

At St Cecilia’s we believe parents are the primary educators of their children.  Children benefit further when parents and carers are involved in their formal education and when the staff develop a relationship based on trust, mutual respect and confidence. We encourage parents to be actively involved in their children’s education and school life.

We wish you and your family a long and happy association with St. Cecilia’s.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Yvette Owens
